Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the hydraulic cylinder for the leveling blade. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Cylinder (Leveling Blade) - Remove and Install".

Personal injury or death can result from not engaging the parking brake. Transmission engagement alone will not prevent machine from rolling when the engine is stopped.

1. Remove three bolts (3), the three washers, plate assembly (1), and support (2).

2. Remove the four bolts, the eight washers, the four nuts, and plate (4).

3. Attach a suitable lifting device to blade assembly (5). The weight of blade assembly (5) is approximately 290 kg (640 lb).

4. Remove bolt (6), the washer, the two shims, and the nut.

   Note: Record the position of the shim and the thickness of the shim on each arm for installation purposes.

5. Remove pin (8) and shim (7) from each blade arm of blade assembly (5).

6. Remove aligning bearing (9) from each blade arm of blade assembly (5).

7. Remove blade assembly (5).

Installation Procedure

1. Install blade assembly (5) in the reverse order of removal.

1. Install the hydraulic cylinder for the leveling blade. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Cylinder (Leveling Blade) - Remove and Install".
