斗杆沉降阻尼阀位于主控制阀与斗杆油缸之间的斗杆液压回路中。 当斗杆操纵手柄处于空档位置时,斗杆沉降阻尼阀阻止漏油。 斗杆沉降阻尼阀阻止斗杆油缸连杆端的机油泄漏。 停止泄油可防止斗杆沉降。
