Isolation Switches
The I/O cabinet can contain the following number of switches:
- Zero
- Two
- Three
In a configuration with two switches, the switches are used to isolate the following items: system output and maintenance bypass. In a configuration with three switches, the switches will isolate the MMU input. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, UENR3954, "General Information (Input/Output Cabinet)" for diagrams of the individual configurations of the cabinet.
