An improved 5P-8500 Key is now available. The design of the new key incorporates the following improvements:

- (1) The key ring was moved to the bottom of the key. This design change will improve the orientation of the key into the lock assembly.
- (2) The over mold shape was changed to improve the fit of the key in the hand. This change will also improve the orientation of the key into the lock assembly.
- (3) A new brass material is now being utilized which has a low iron content. The material change will improve the strength in the cross section of the key.
- (4) Over mold material around the key ring was removed to improve the fit on a key ring.
