Improved Air Conditioning (AC) System in 793D Off-Highway Trucks {1802}
- Off-Highway Truck:
- 793D (S/N: FDB1-UP)
Description of Change: The following changes have been made to the AC system in order to reduce the damaging effects of vibration:
- Installing new support brackets for the AC compressor
- Routing and securing the wiring and the hoses
- Installing a new bracket for the guard
Adaptable To:
The new 367-9766 Bracket As and 147-6610 Bracket have been added.
Cable straps, clips, and the associated hardware have also been added.
For more detailed information, refer to Special Instruction, REHS7481, "Improving the Air Conditioning (AC) System in 793D Off-Highway Trucks".
The changes are adaptable to the above machine engines back to first production.
The changes are effective with serial number FDB01570.
