The new configuration feature is only compatible with Advisor panels for engines that use NO_x feedback. The feature cannot be used for engines with O₂ feedback.

The configuration feature includes functions that were previously only available on Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET).

• Set up the engine by programming the system configuration parameters that affect operations such as air/fuel ratio control and engine monitoring

• Protect the parameters with passwords

• View full text descriptions of diagnostic trouble codes

The new feature also provides the Advisor with a display of virtual gauges for observation during engine operation.

Note: A cost is associated with the activation of the configuration feature.
