Description of Change: The new thermostats have dials for adjustment of the temperature. The former thermostat was pre-set at the factory. The new thermostats have improved accuracy and improved contact performance.

The new thermostats, the adjustable temperature ranges, and the former thermostat are listed in Table 1. The former thermostat is not canceled.

The new thermostats must be used with new heating elements. Either of the new thermostats can be used with any of the new elements. The new heating elements and the voltage ratings are listed in Table 2.

The new thermostats are adaptable to the products that are listed above back to first production. Only replace the former 237-4358 Thermostat in the event of problems with the thermostat. Either the 300-4967 Thermostat or the 307-3274 Thermostat can be used for replacement, according to the desired temperature range.

The new thermostats are effective with serial numbers that are listed in Table 3.
