Alternator - Remove and Install

Usage:

C7 PRY

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery or Battery Calbes - Disconnect".

  1. Remove the drive belt.

  1. Place an index mark on all harness assemblies that are connected to alternator (1). Disconnect all harness assemblies from alternator (1) .

  1. Remove bolts (2) .

  1. Remove alternator (1) .

Installation Procedure

  1. Position alternator (1) on the mounting bracket. Install bolts (2) .

  1. Install the drive belt.

  1. Connect all harness assemblies to alternator (1). Use the index marks to correctly connect the harness assemblies.

  1. Connect the battery cables to the battery. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery or Battery Calbes - Disconnect".
