Engine Oil Filter Base - Remove and Install

Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or for disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".

- Disconnect tube assembly (3). Remove bolts (1 ) and elbow (2).

Illustration 4 g01859095 - Use Tooling (A) to remove oil filter (14) from engine oil filter base (13). Remove bolts (12) and oil filter base (13).

- Install oil filter bases (11) and (13) in reverse order of removal.
Note: Apply lubricant that is being sealed to all O-ring seals.
