Engine Support (Front) - Remove and Install

Usage:

C18 C1J

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the vibration damper and the pulley. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Vibration Damper and Pulley - Remove and Install".

  1. Support the front of the engine with a suitable lifting device. The weight of the engine is approximately 1700 kg (3750 lb).

  2. Remove bolts (1) from engine support (2).

  3. Use two people in order to remove engine support (2) from the front housing. The weight of engine support (2) is approximately 30 kg (66 lb).

Installation Procedure

  1. Use two people in order to position engine support (2) on the front housing. The weight of engine support (2) is approximately 30 kg (66 lb).

  2. Install bolts (1) in engine support (2).

End By:

  1. Install the vibration damper and the pulley. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Vibration Damper and Pulley - Remove and Install".
