Introduction

This publication contains the information for the operation of the Electrohydraulic Controls for the modified 824H Scoop. This supplemental product support literature should be used with the following manuals:

Switches

(1) Joystick Control

(2) Switch for the Tilt Control

(3) Set/Decel Switch

(4) Resume/Accel Switch

(5) Hydraulic Lockout Control

(6) Horn Button

(7) Kickout Set Switch

Use the Throttle Lock Switch (3) for Set/Decel in order to set the throttle. To decelerate to a lower rpm, continue pressing the Set/Decel switch. Once the switch is released the previous setting will resume.

Use the Throttle Lock Switch (4) for Resume/Accel in order to resume the throttle setting when the throttle setting has been released. To accelerate to a higher rpm, continue pressing the Resume/Accel switch. Once the switch is released the previous setting will resume.

Use hydraulic lockout switch (5) in order to turn off all Implements.

Press button (6) in order to operate the horn.

Lift, Lower and Float

The center position of the control lever is the hold position.

Move the Joystick Control into position (G) in order to lift the scoop.

Move the Joystick Control into position (F) in order to lower the scoop.

Move the Joystick Control into position (H) in order to activate either a lower kickout or float.

Move the Joystick Control into position (L) in order to activate a lift kickout.

Tiltback and Dump

The center position of the control lever is the hold position.

Move the Joystick Control into position D in order to move the scoop into the dump position.

Move the Joystick Control in position E in order to put the scoop into the tilt back position.

Tilt Left and Tilt Right

The center position of the control lever is the hold position.

Hold the switch for the tilt (C) and move the Joystick Control into position A in order to tilt the scoop to the left.

Hold the switch for the tilt (C) and move the Joystick Control into position B in order to tilt the scoop to the right.

Lift Kickout Controls

To set the lower kickout, position the scoop to desired height, and push the forward part of the kickout switch (K). When the lower kickout is set, a single beep will be heard from the horn for the kickout set.

To set the upper kickout, position the scoop to desired height, and push the rearward part of the kickout switch (J). When the upper kickout is set, a single beep will be heard from the horn for the kickout set.

To use the preset kickout, push the Joystick Control forward until the detent is activated. Release the Joystick Control. The scoop will then be lowered to the preset position. Pull the Joystick Control rearward until the detent is activated. Release the Joystick Control. The scoop will then be raised to the preset position.

Move the Joystick Control out of the hold position in either direction in order to deactivate the kickout.

Activate the float function by positioning the scoop below the lower kickout set and pushing the Joystick Control forward until the detent is activated. Then release the Joystick Control.

Moving the Joystick Control out of the hold position in either direction will deactivate the float function.
