The Emergency Power Off Circuit Reset Switch enables the system to restart after an operator uses the Emergency Power Off for emergency shutdown of the UPS.
The button resets the Emergency Power Off in UPS/SMS and MMU systems.

- Perform steps in the Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (Controls Cabinet)" in order to de-energize the system and gain access to internal components.
- Disconnect the wiring harness from the back the reset switch.
The harness location is labeled. Verify the labeling.
- Remove the reset switch from the metal bracket that connects the switch to the left panel. Remove the reset switch by compressing the rear tabs and pulling the switch out straight through the front of the bracket.
Installation
- Attach the reset switch to the metal bracket connected to the left panel in the position shown in Illustration 1. Slide the switch through the hole in the front of the bracket with the "ON" label oriented to the top.
- Connect the wires to the back of the reset switch. Refer to Illustration 4 or Illustration 5
