Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the V-Belts. Refer to this Disassembly and Assembly Manual, "V-Belts - Remove and Install".

1. Remove the nuts (4).

2. Remove the fan (1).

3. If equipped, remove the studs (3).

4. If equipped, remove the extension (2) for the fan (1).

5. Remove the fan pulley.

Installation Procedure

1. Inspect the condition of the fan pulley. Replace the fan pulley, if necessary.

2. Install the fan pulley.

3. If the engine is equipped with an extension for the fan, install the extension (2).

4. If equipped, install the studs (3).

5. Inspect the condition of the fan (1) and replace the fan, if necessary.

6. Install the fan (1).

7. Install the nuts (4). Tighten the nuts (1) to a torque of 12 N·m (9 lb ft).
