The new Special Instruction, REHS1709, "Installation of the Advanced Digital Engine Management (ADEM) III Control System on G3612 and G3616 Engines" is available. This Special Instruction describes the procedures for ordering and installing the ADEM III control system for the G3612 and G3616 Engines. The ADEM III control system replaces the Caterpillar Ignition System (CIS).
Paper copies of this Special Instruction are available through normal channels for literature distribution. This Special Instruction is also available for electronic distribution in the Service Information System (SIS).
