Description of Change: New travel motors with increased service life were announced in a recent service magazine article. The Service Magazine was published 20January 2003. The title of the article is, SEPD0663, "Improved Travel Motors Have an Increased Service Life". These travel motors are now available from Cat Reman. The remanufactured motors have the same improvements as the new motors. Sleeved barrels are included.

Adaptable To: The remanufactured 10R-1736 Piston Motor Gp is a direct replacement for the 215-9952 Piston Motor Gp. The remanufactured 10R-1737 Piston Motor Gp is a direct replacement for the 215-9954 Piston Motor Gp.

The remanufactured travel motors are effective with the machines that are listed in Table 1.
