PS-200B (5JR198-Up) Pneumatic Compactors
Description of Change: A new alternator mounting configuration is now available for PS-150B and PS-200B compactors. The new configuration consisting of mounting brackets, fan guard and hardware is more durable than the previous design.
Rework Procedure:
NOTE: Additional parts may be required. Refer to the "Rework Procedure" for details.
NOTE: When disassembling the existing configuration, save the 8T-4121 Washers (M10) and 8T-4136 Bolts (M10) from bracket A (Illustration 1) and the lower 8T-7547 Alternator Mounting Bolt to reuse with new assembly.
1. Turn off the power at the main power switch.
2. Disconnect the wire leads from the alternator.
NOTE: Mark wires for reassembly to correct terminals. Orientation of terminals on alternator will change when alternator is rotated 180 degrees on reassembly.
