5. Remove guards (5) from the inner rear tire and rim.
6. Remove guard (6) from the wheel.
7. Release the pressure from the inside rear tire. Remove hose (7) and the clip from the wheel and rim.
8. The weight of the tire and rim is 3051 kg (6730 lb). Fasten a hoist on a lift truck to the tire and rim.
9. Remove nuts (8) and the washers. Remove the tire and rim from the machine.
10. Remove any studs that are loose or damaged.
Install Rear Tires & Rims
1. If any of the studs were removed from the wheel, install the studs, and tighten them to a torque of 350 ± 40 N·m (260 ± 30 lb ft).
NOTICE |
---|
Make sure the rim and wheel mounting surfaces are clean and free of grease, paint, nicks, burrs, etc. Make sure the threads of the studs and nuts are clean and dry. |
2. Align the valve stem hole in the rim with the four bolt holes in the wheel for guard (1). Put the tire and rim in position on the wheel, and install the washers and nuts (3) that hold it. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 1125 ± 100 N·m (820 ± 75 lb ft).
3. Install hose (2) guard (1) and the clip for hose (2) as shown.
4. Install guards (4) on the inner rear rim.
5. If ring (5) was removed, install the studs in the ring, and tighten them to a torque of 350 ± 40 N·m (260 ± 30 lb ft)
