Usage:
NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3303" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3303" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The wrong torque tool was used to tighten the 5P-9266 Damper Bolts on all G3408 and G3412 Engines built between the dates of 02/01/99 and 03/30/99. The bolts were torqued to 105 N·M and should have been torqued to 215 ± 40 N·m.

Dealers will not need to order parts for this Program.
Action Required
Tighten the 5P-9266 bolts (front end of engine crankshaft) to a torque of 215 ± 40 N·m. If there is a 6N-7785 Pulley installed on the crankshaft, it will need to be removed to gain access to the bolts.
