NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3639" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T " as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3639" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Rework Procedure
1. Measure thickness of plate "A". See Illustration 1. If plate "A" measures 10 mm thick, no further work is required. If plate "A" measures 8 mm thick proceed to Step 2.

2. Fabricate 2 plates 300 mm x 135 mm x 6 mm of ASTM A108 Grade 1018 steel as shown in Illustration 2.

3. Disconnect battery cables.
NOTE: Do not lower the inner stabilizer legs, because this will place the non- metallic wear pads in the heat affected zone during the welding process.
4. If the machine has been in service, check plate "A" for flatness. If plate "A" is deformed, heat the affected area and straighten.
5. Remove all paint and dirt from the area to be welded, and weld the reinforcing plates "B" to plates "A" as shown in Illustration 3.

6. Paint the area affected.
7. Connect battery and check stabilizer legs for operation.
