PROBLEM
Show/hide table
The existing right hand hoist cylinder hoses can rub on the hydraulic tank on certain 793F, 793F XQ, and 793F CMD Off-Highway Trucks. This interference may sometimes only occur during dump operations. If the existing hoses fail they will result in an inability to complete/perform dump operations as well as extensive oil loss.
In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 7% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.
ACTION REQUIRED
Show/hide table
Inspect the hoses on each affected machine with the body in both the raised and lowered positions. If interference is noted then replace the existing hoses with the new design. Replace O-ring seals if necessary. Refer to the attached Rework Procedure. Refer to attached image for fitting/port connections.
