New Tool Makes Glow Plug Wire Removal Easier

Usage:

3400 PC Engines

Removal of the glow plug lead assembly can be difficult in 3400 PC Engines because of limited access to the glow plug and the force required to remove it. The lead assembly can be damaged when removed if it is done too quickly. The 6V3049 Glow Plug Wire Remover (Illustration 1) is now available to do this without damage.

To remove the lead assembly, use the pliers as shown in Illustration 2 to get a grip on the glow plug cap. Use a rocker arm as a fulcrum (point of force) for the bar and carefully pull the lead assembly free.

The 6V3049 Remover is adaptable to all 3400 PC Engines.
