Description of Change: New thermowell adapters are available that offer increased durability for the existing oil temperature sensor and jacket water temperature sensor. The change is adaptable back to first production for the serial numbers listed above.

Adaptable To: The new 479-0902 Thermowell is for use with the existing 195-2150 Temperature Sensor Gp used for engine lubrication oil temperature.

The new 479-0903 Thermowell is for use with the existing 212-3423 Temperature Sensor Gp used for jacket water temperature.

Note: The parts are available as a service option only, and will not be released in production for 3500 Tier 2 marine engines.
