Voltage Current Interface (VCI-1) Board
VCI-1 is located behind the left door panel in the SIO cabinet. VCI-1 senses system input and output voltage and system input and output current.
Note: Resistors are sensitive to being knocked out. Remove the board carefully.
Note: Always practice electrostatic discharge (ESD) prevention when handling printed wire assemblies (PWA).
- Disconnect J1, J2, J5, J6, TB1-1, TB1-2, TB2-1, TB2-2, TB3-1, TB3-2, TB4-1, TB4-2, TB5-1, TB5-2, TB6-1, and TB6-2.
- Disconnect the seven white plastic stand-offs connecting the board to the left panel. Use the following method.
Note: The board must be removed from the stand-offs without bending the board.
- Pinch the head of each stand-off so that the board is not locked but is still attached to the stand-off.
- Remove the board by gently and evenly pulling the board from all stand-offs at the same time.
- Position the board in the cabinet over the six white stand-offs that are connected to the left panel.
- Push the board, gently and evenly, onto all the stand-offs simultaneously. Make sure all stand-offs are locked in place.
- Connect J1, J2, J5, J6, TB1-1, TB1-2, TB2-1, TB2-2, TB3-1, TB3-2, TB4-1, TB4-2, TB5-1, TB5-2, TB6-1, and TB6-2.
VCI-2 is located in the right panel of the SIO cabinet on the right side of the main static switch air duct. VCI-2 senses the DC bus voltage and AC filter node voltage.
- Disconnect J1, J2, J5, and J6.
Note: The board must be removed from the stand-offs without bending the board.

VCI- 3 is located in the right panel on the SIO cabinet below the K1 contactor. VCI- 3 senses bypass voltage and external source synch voltage.
Note: The board must be removed from the stand-offs without bending the board.
- Disconnect J1, J4, J5, and J6.
