Description of Change: Changes have been made to the exhaust manifold groups for G3520C Engines that use bio-gas fuel. A new material is used for the exhaust bellows. The seal for the exhaust bellows has been improved.
Adaptable To: The new 264-5140 Bellows As is made from an improved material. The new bellows assembly has a serviceable inner liner. The 289-0285 Liner is made from a new material that is more resistant to corrosion.

The new 264-5142 Seal has an improved design. The seal has an inverted "C" ring which prevents exhaust gases from being trapped inside the seal groove.

A new 288-9046 Bellows As is used for the turbocharger inlet. This new bellows assembly is made from an improved material that is more resistant to corrosion. The 272-2655 Seal is used with the bellows assembly for the turbocharger inlet. This seal also uses an inverted "C" ring which prevents exhaust gases from being trapped inside the seal groove.
A new 308-4493 Bellows As is used at the front of the engine. This new bellows assembly is made from an improved material that is more resistant to corrosion. Also, the inner liner of the new bellows assembly has been reduced in diameter and shortened in length. The redesigned liner will decrease the potential for rubbing between the liner and the exhaust bellow during thermal expansion of the manifold.

The new 265-5230 Exhaust Manifold Gp is used for 1200 RPM or 1500 RPM G3520C Engines with twin turbochargers that use bio-gas fuel.
The new 320-9157 Exhaust Manifold Gp is used for 1500 RPM G3520C Engines with single turbochargers that use bio-gas fuel.
The new bellows assemblies and the new seals are adaptable to the engines that are listed above. Serial number effectivity is listed in Table 1.
