The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
Incorrect oil filler tubes are being installed during field repair on the engines for the 2007 model year. The incorrect oil filler tubes are not designed to operate with higher crankcase pressures that are with the engines for the 2007 model year.
Solution
Replace the incorrect oil filler tubes with the correct part number for the above listed engines. Refer to the Service Information System for the correct part.
