Filter Inductor Component Part |
There are two sets of Filter Inductors that are in the back of the cabinet. The Filter Inductors are located at the bottom of the cabinet behind the K3 and K4 inverter contactors and the metal fan plenum. There is one filter for each of the two inverters in the UPS1200 unit. Each Filter Inductor is made up of three component inductors. There is one Filter Inductor for each phase of the three-phase power (AC). The six inductors are laminated steel with copper windings and are mounted inside the plenum for cooling.
The temperature of the Filter Inductors is monitored by the General Purpose Interface Board connector "J7", on the left panel, via a thermistor that is connected to the inductor.
Removal and Installation
Removal and installation of the Filter Inductor are not field service procedures. For problems concerning the line inductor call a factory service technician.
