Canceled Part Numbers and Replaced Part Numbers

This document does not include all Canceled part number and replaced part number information. Use NPR on SIS for information about Canceled part numbers and replaced part numbers. NPR will provide the current part numbers for replaced parts.

Equipment

(1) Is equipment available that can be used for cleaning the track prior to service? (Power washer or steam cleaner) 
 
 
(2) Is the track press capable of servicing all models of track that is serviced in the track shop? 
 
 
(3) Is tooling available that can be used for removing the plastic plugs and rubber stoppers from the oil cavity on the track? 
 
 
(4) Is tooling available that can be used for removing the track bolts and nuts? 
 
 
(5) Is tooling available that can be used for removing the paint from the mating surfaces of the track shoes and track links? (Grinding wheel or wire brush) 
 
 
(6) Is the available lighting adequate for inspecting the track components? (Bushings, track pins, track links, and thrust rings) 
 
 
(7) Is a table available that can be used for holding a set of track links? 
 
 
(8) Is a wash tank available for cleaning the track components? (Bushings, track pins, track links, and thrust rings) 
 
 
(9) Is tooling available to tighten the track bolts to the proper torque? 
 
 
(10) Is a pressure test available for testing the integrity of the track joint? ( 170-5664 Test and Fill Cart Gp or FT2724 Pressure Gauge Tool Gp) 
 
 
(10) Is a lubricator available for filling the track joint to the proper oil fill volume? ( 170-5664 Test and Fill Cart Gp or portable lubricator) 
 
 
(11) Is a shoe lifter used for removing the track shoes from the link assembly?
