Equipment

(1) Is equipment available that can be used for cleaning the track prior to service? (Power washer or steam cleaner) |
(2) Is the track press capable of servicing all models of track that is serviced in the track shop? |
(3) Is tooling available that can be used for removing the plastic plugs and rubber stoppers from the oil cavity on the track? |
(4) Is tooling available that can be used for removing the track bolts and nuts? |
(5) Is tooling available that can be used for removing the paint from the mating surfaces of the track shoes and track links? (Grinding wheel or wire brush) |
(6) Is the available lighting adequate for inspecting the track components? (Bushings, track pins, track links, and thrust rings) |
(7) Is a table available that can be used for holding a set of track links? |
(8) Is a wash tank available for cleaning the track components? (Bushings, track pins, track links, and thrust rings) |
