Introduction
This service publication contains the installation information that is needed to convert to a electrohydraulic lever control on a field machine.
A complete listing of the parts that are contained in these kits is listed in the Parts Manual, SEBC1504. This supplemental product support literature should be used with the appropriate Service Manual that is available for the standard machine.
Do not perform any procedure and do not order parts that are outlined in this publication until you understand the information that is contained in this document.
Removal of the Joystick Control
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
- Remove the following:
- Two Truss head screw (A)
- One Cushion Assembly (B)
- Four Screws (C)
- Two Screws (D)
- Four Washer (E)
- One Horn switch (F)
- One Downshift switch (G)
- One Cover (H)
Note: Keep the cushion assembly and all of the mounting hardware for later use.

- Remove the operator control by removing the two screws that are holding the operator controls to the support for the operator control. Keep the two screws for later use.
- Disconnect the harness for the operator control from the cab harness.
- Remove the horn switch (F) from the original cover. Keep the horn switch (F) for later use.
- Remove the downshift switch (G) from the original cover. Keep the downshift switch (G) for later use.
Installation of the 324-8181 Electrohydraulic Control Conversion Gp (Kit, Joystick to 3-Lever Control)
Note: Software must be uploaded to this group before final installation and testing.
- Use twelve 9X-2044 Screws (2) and install three 307-4671 Handle Control Groups (1) onto the 262-5240 Plate As (3) .

- Use the four 9X-2044 Screws (2) and install the 262-5240 Plate As (3) onto the 262-5239 Housing As (4) .

- Install a .1 Meter length of 5C-8465 Seal (5) onto the front and rear of the 262-5239 Housing As (4) .
- Install the following parts onto the 262-5237 Cover (12) :

- Install the original horn switch into the 262-5237 Cover (12) .
- Install the original downshift switch into the 262-5237 Cover (12) .
- Connect the 310-7565 Cab Harness As (14) to the following connections:
- The horn switch
- The downshift switch
- The lift lever
- The tilt lever
- The third function lever
- The horn switch

- Use the following hardware and secure the 310-7565 Cab Harness As (14) :
- Use the following hardware and mount the operator control onto the support for the operator control.

- Connect the 310-7565 Cab Harness As (14) to the main cab harness.
- Install the 265-6696 Rocker Switch (Third Function Select) (26) into the control panel.

Note: Software must be uploaded to this group before final installation and testing.
- Use eight 9X-2044 Screws (2) and install two 307-4671 Handle Control Groups (1) onto the 262-5240 Plate As (3) .
