Assembly Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
- Install the O-ring seal onto plug (9) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force. |
- Assemble plug (9), rod (10), retainer (11), seat (12), spring (13), washer (14), retainer (15), spool (16), and spring (17) .
- Install the valve assembly into the valve body.
- Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for the remaining valves.
- Install mounting plate (7), shims (6), reaction plate (5), and bolt (4) (not shown) onto valve body (8) .

- Install handle assembly (3) and secure nut (2) .

- Reposition boot (1) .
