THIS TIB REPLACES THE AUGUST 25, 1999 EXCAVATOR TIB, COMPONENT CODE 5057, "XT6 HOSE ON 375 EXCAVATORS REPLACES THE XT5 HOSE TO INCREASE RELIABILITY AND DURABILITY". DESTROY THE AUGUST 25, 1999 TIB. IT WILL NOT APPEAR IN THE SEMI-ANNUAL INDEX.
Problem:
The XT6 hose may fail prematurely.
Solution:
The XT6 hose is more durable and is used to replace the XT5. All machines built after the machines listed above have the XT6 hoses installed. Refer to the following table and Illustrations 1, 2 and 3 for the locations of the hoses and new part numbers.
