Electronic gauges (3) and (4) are used to monitor the engine systems.
The indications vary according to the particular application. All gauges may not be present on every engine. In addition to the shown gauge clusters, an additional gauge cluster may be used to monitor the engine systems.

The Alert Indicators (1) show abnormal engine conditions.
The Display Area (2) provides a six digit display area that shows the values that are listed below.
- Engine operational hours (service meter)
- Engine speed (tachometer)
- DC voltage (system voltage)
- Diagnostic codes
The information for any gauge of the gauge clusters can be shown with numbers on this readout. For more information about the gauge clusters, see Systems Operation, "Quad Gauge Module". The display area also contains 10 unit indicators and a service indicator. Information that is displayed on the readout is selected by the operator.
The units of the measurements for the values that are shown on display area are displayed with the unit indicators that are listed below.

- kPa
- psi
- RPM
- LITERS
- LITERS PER MINUTE
- GALLON
- GALLONS PER MINUTE
- X10
- HOURMETER
The indicators are turned ON and OFF in order to correspond with the information on the display area.
An external customer supplied action alarm may be used with this module. This alarm would be used to indicate that a diagnostic code is currently present.
One service code indicator shows that a system fault has been detected and the system fault is currently present.
