New housing modules need to be installed to improve the final drive bearing preload system on certain 322C, 322C L, 325C and 325C L Excavators. The contact stress between 1688452 Bearing and 1695596 Stopper may cause stopper deformation, reduced bearing preload, stopper rotation and internal component damage. The updated module provides a hardened stopper to eliminate deformation, dowels to positively anchor the stopper, housing material hardness is increased and motor housing/stopper thread engagement is increased.AFFECTED PRODUCT

Rework Procedure
The 2276134 and 2276125 Modules utilize 2276123 Dowels to positively anchor the 2276118 Stop. The stopper is hardened to eliminate deformation at the interface between the 22761118 Stopper and the 1688452 Bearing.
Follow the disassembly and assembly instructions (RENR3843-00 for 322C(L) and RENR5367-00 for 325C(L)).
Use the 2276134 Housing Module for 322C(L) machines to replace:
1695586 Motor Housing
1695596 Stopper
1695608 Sprocket Housing
1688452 Bearings
2071571 Duo Cone
Use the 2276125 Housing Module for 325C(L) machines to replace:
1695586 Motor Housing
1695596 Stopper
1695585 Sprocket Housing
1688452 Bearings
2071571 Duo Cone
The 2276134 and 2276125 Housing Modules are factory assembled complete and ready for installation.
