Description of Change: A new seal is used in the governor fastener group. The illustration shows the location of the new seal. The new seal will provide better resistance to oil leakage.

Location of the new 7E0844 Seal in the 7W4812 Governor Fastener Group.

Adaptable To: The new 7E0844 Seal is a direct replacement for the former 7C3905 Seal in the 7W4812 Governor Fastener Group. The former seal is canceled. The governor must be removed from the engine to install the new seal in the cylinder head (see the appropriate Service Manual module).
