With the key start switch in the ON position, 24 volt power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker 7 to Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1). Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1) supplies 8 volt power to torque converter oil temperature sensor (4) .

Torque converter oil temperature sensor (4) sends a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) signal to Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1). Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1) sends a signal to gauge module (2). The torque converter oil temperature is displayed on torque converter oil temperature gauge (3) .

ReferenceFor more information on torque converter oil temperature, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Caterpillar Monitoring System".
